💼 Who's Hiring at Sky Harbor
The airport's job fair page lists the full roster, and it reads like a tour of the terminals.
- Food and beverage: HMS Host is after cooks, baristas, hosts and utility workers. SSP America needs utility staff and cashiers. Aramark's Sky Café, The Grove, Sir Vezas/EDMV and PMCS are all hiring cooks or kitchen crew, and Kind Hospitality wants cashiers and customer service associates.
- Airline lounges: Sodexo is staffing both the Chase Sapphire Lounges (cooks, prep cooks, utility) and the United Club/Star Alliance lounge (supervisors, wait staff, prep cooks).
- Retail: Paradies is hiring customer service, replenishment and warehouse workers, CASA Unlimited Enterprises needs sales associates, and Alclear (the company behind CLEAR) has sales and service roles.
- Ramp, cargo and aircraft services: Worldwide Flight Services needs warehouse and ramp agents, Trego-Dugan Aviation is hiring customer service and ramp service workers, and HHS needs cabin cleaners, a supervisor and a dispatcher. GAT Airline Ground Support's Sky Café operation has assembly and beverage cart jobs.
- Cleaning and passenger help: Velocity is hiring overnight floor technicians (experience required) and floor-care machine operators, Hyde Park Hospitality needs day cleaners, and ABM is hiring passenger assistants.
- Management: AeroMexico wants an airport duty manager, and the McDonald's in Terminal 4 (Stingley Management) is hiring managers along with crew and maintenance workers.
💵 What the Jobs Pay
Only two employers put a number on the airport's listing. CASA Unlimited lists its sales associate job at $15.50 an hour, and the Terminal 4 McDonald's lists $16 an hour for its roles. Everyone else left pay off the page, so ask at each table.
The airport says benefits vary by company but can include health insurance, retirement plans, retention bonuses, sign-on bonuses and employee assistance programs. Several employers also list paid time off and dental and vision coverage.
⚠️ Read This Before You Head to 44th Street
Airport jobs come with an extra step most retail and restaurant jobs don't. Expect a background check and an airport badging process before your first shift. The airport's listing doesn't spell out the requirements for each employer, so ask every recruiter you talk to what their timeline looks like.
Velocity's overnight floor technician job is the only posting that asks for experience.
The fair is at the 44th Street Sky Train station, not inside a terminal. It sits at 44th and Washington streets, where the Sky Train connects to Valley Metro Rail, so riders coming in from Tempe or downtown can step off the train and walk in.
