Who's Behind the Phoenix Veterans Job Fair

The fair is a joint effort between DAV, the national nonprofit that serves disabled veterans, and RecruitMilitary, which runs veteran hiring events around the country. Both list the Glendale date on their own event calendars. It's a return trip: the same partnership brought a veterans job fair to State Farm Stadium last September.

As of this week, RecruitMilitary's exhibitor page showed 42 organizations registered, and that number can still move before doors open. One confirmed exhibitor is Military Sealift Command, the Navy's civilian mariner fleet, which is recruiting for civil service jobs at sea. The full employer roster has not been published, so plan to walk the concourse rather than target a single booth.

This is not an open-to-everyone fair. It is aimed at veterans, transitioning service members and their spouses. If you don't have a military connection, a general hiring event is the better use of your morning.
