Who's Behind the Phoenix Veterans Job Fair
The fair is a joint effort between DAV, the national nonprofit that serves disabled veterans, and RecruitMilitary, which runs veteran hiring events around the country. Both list the Glendale date on their own event calendars. It's a return trip: the same partnership brought a veterans job fair to State Farm Stadium last September.
As of this week, RecruitMilitary's exhibitor page showed 42 organizations registered, and that number can still move before doors open. One confirmed exhibitor is Military Sealift Command, the Navy's civilian mariner fleet, which is recruiting for civil service jobs at sea. The full employer roster has not been published, so plan to walk the concourse rather than target a single booth.
⚠️ Read This Before You Drive to Glendale
This is not an open-to-everyone fair. It is aimed at veterans, transitioning service members and their spouses. If you don't have a military connection, a general hiring event is the better use of your morning. The Fall 2026 Phoenix job fairs guide lists several, including a Surprise job fair the very same day. Different event, different crowd, different requirements.
A few more things to know: the fair is inside the stadium, not in the parking lot, so enter at Gate 3. Parking in Lot E2 is complimentary. The organizer asks attendees to create a RecruitMilitary profile and upload a resume before the event, which lets recruiters see you before you reach their table.
📋 How to Show Up Ready
- Translate your MOS. Recruiters from civilian companies may not know what a 92Y or an aviation boatswain's mate does. Put it in plain terms: inventory, logistics, team lead, safety.
- Bring printed resumes. Ten copies is a safe number for a fair this size.
- Charge your phone. Many employers will point you to an online application on the spot.
- Have a 30-second pitch. Your service, your target role, and when you can start.
- Collect follow-ups. Get a name and email from every booth that fits, and send a note the next day.
- Spouses: bring your own resume and your own pitch. You are a candidate here, not a plus-one.
🔎 Where to Aim Your Search
Veterans in the Valley tend to land well in logistics, trades, security, health care and project management, and the West Valley along Loop 303 and I-10 is home to a big share of the region's distribution centers. Don't wait for the 24th to start looking.
